In-Person Giving
If you are attending an in-person service you can place your gift in the donation plates that are passed during the service, or you can bring it by the church and drop it off during the week within normal open hours.

ELECTRONIC GIVING (e-giving):
Electronic giving (a.k.a. e-giving) allows you to give via credit card, debit card, or from a bank account via an electronic device such as a mobile device (cell phone), tablet, computer, etc.
Below are the e-giving options that First CRC has made available:
Online Giving (web page)
From the online giving web page you can either make a single donation or you can set up a recurring donation. Setting up a recurring donation requires the setting up of an account, but you can also set up an account for a single donation. Doing so will streamline future giving as it stores your giving info which can then be easily accessed for setting up future gifts.

Mobile App
Using the Mobile App requires the creating of an account, but gives you all of the same options that you can find when using the online giving option listed above.
To set up and use the Mobile App for giving please do the following:
- Download the Tithe.ly church app from your phone’s app store.
- Set up your account.
- Search for First CRC by choosing the “Find a church…” option and entering First Christian Reformed Church Mount Vernon (selecting “Find nearest church” to let the app search will only work if you are in church or very close-by). When you’ve located the church, press “Give Now”.
- Enter your credit card or debit card info, or select “Bank Account” which can be found towards the bottom right of the app, and enter your bank account information.
- Set up your donation, selecting whether it is a one time donation or a recurring gift.
- Complete your donation or recurring gift.

Please Note:
- There is a small fee charged to the church for each “electronic” donation. As such you have an option, when setting up your gift, to cover this fee. Doing so will automatically increase the amount of your donation by the amount of the fee. Or you can choose to not cover the fee and then the fee will be deducted from the amount you’ve specified.
- First CRC does not store or have access to your account (if you’ve set one up) or to your credit/debit card or bank account info. This info is only saved within the setup of your account managed by Tithe.ly.
